Chinese tea · street graphics
One arched headline, one dripping smiley, thirty-four Chinese teas. Every design comes as a print and as a shirt.

The page is built like a bootleg tee: an arched red headline over a flat yellow halftone panel, a dripping black smiley, a blue patch with the Chinese name and an oval banner at the foot. Nothing here is precious — the print carries the tea the way a market sign carries fruit. The language comes out of Chinese-American street graphics, studied on shirts of the Chinatown Market kind; we are not connected with that label, copy none of its marks and speak for nobody but ourselves. It suits ripe pu-erh nuggets: lumpy, dark, plainly unglamorous and very good in the cup. Site and shirt keep the same four colours and the same rounded panels, so they read as one print.
